Just a quick note to our Montana friends that we’ll be back in Butte for a week from July 27 thru August 3rd. Although we’ve already scheduled several sessions, we still have openings. If you would like to schedule a Senior or Family session just give us a call at 877 288 4118.

It was a perfect day at a stunning venue. The Biltmore in Asheville. And as day began to turn into night, Kayla and Alan had a storybook wedding under the deep blue clouds of a unforgettable summer afternoon.
It was obviously to everyone the love Kayla and Alan had for each other as both were grinning madly at each other during the service. Everyone was captured by the excitement and friendship in this storied location and stayed to celebrate their union till midnight.
(Thanks to Gwenn Ford of Wedding Inspirations and the Biltmore Estate staff for their professionalism in making this evening possible. A large celebration requires meticulous concentration on details and execution. Their work was exceptional.)

Kayla and Alan waited till the last minute for their engagement session. Their rehearsal starts in about 2 hours.
But it was an amazing session in the Italian Gardens of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. With such a extraordinary location to look forward to, why not wait?

Jenny & Andrew were made for each other. That’s for sure. I don’t think I’ve ever been a a wedding where both families knew already knew everyone. It was if this wedding arranged at birth.
And a perfect Saturday afternoon was reserved for this celebration too.
After the ceremony everyone headed down to Bristol’s Train Station for the party that lasted well into the evening.

The lovely Amanda came all the way to Bristol from Bastian, Virginia for her bridal portrait. As you can see from the photographs she was a joy to photograph.

Every year I shoot a couple of assignments for the Tennessee Department of Tourism. This month my project was to photograph some of the attractions in Upper East Tennessee to update the agency’s files. The photograph above is my son, Matthew, enjoying himself in Bristol Caverns. Below is the new projector in the Bay’s Mountain Planetarium and the action at Thunder Valley.

Jenny was the first portrait shot in our new Bristol studio. Although the construction wasn’t complete, we finished rigging the lighting and backgrounds the day before so we would be ready.
Her bracelet was a memento from her grandmother and the chair cover was started by her mother when she was expecting Jenny and finished the week before the portrait. Just in time for the wedding!!
